| James N. Bryant
James N. Bryant is a trial attorney with over thirty years experience.
He was born in Spangler, Pennsylvania and grew up in Centre County. Both
his parents were Army Officers – Willis W. Bryant, a decorated fighter pilot and
Betty Bryant, a WAC who outranked her husband at the time of their
marriage. Jim is a graduate of Juniata College and the University of
Pennsylvania Law School of Law. He is a former Assistant District Attorney
who worked in the Homicide and Major Trial Units for the Philadelphia
District Attorney’s Office. In 1975, James N. Bryant returned from
Philadelphia to Centre County and opened an office for the general
practice of law.
Jim is married and lives with this wife Sue on a farm in the eastern
section of Penns Valley. Jim’s talented wife has restored their 1817
farm house to its original condition and the Bryant’s share their house
with their two dogs, twelve cats, five goats, a rabbit and one black sheep
named Sam. The Bryant’s have three surviving children who have scattered
themselves about the eastern seaboard. Jim’s hobbies include white water
canoeing, where he holds an instructor ranking, hunting, fishing,
antiquing, berry picking and entertaining himself while his wife goes to
the mall. He and his daughter have finished as high as 3rd in
National Canoe Competition. He is a member of the Centre County Bar, the Pennsylvania
Bar, American Trial Lawyer’s Association, and past President of the
Nittany Sunrise Kiwanis.

Bernard F. Cantorna
Bernard F. Cantorna
is a 1994 graduate of the Trial
Lawyers College located
in Dubois, Wyoming. He is a member of the American
Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Trial
Lawyers,
and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Bernard
graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law with honors, cum
laude and Order of the Coif. He is a former C.P.A., Public Defender and Assistant
Clinical Professor of Law. He is a trial lawyer who emphasizes personal injury
and criminal defense in his practice. Bernard is also a proud father of two
